About the Independence Events Center
The Independence Events Center hosts a variety of events including: concerts; trade shows; professional, collegiate and high school sporting events, festivals, community ceremonies and is home to the Missouri Mavericks, of the Central Hockey League and the Missouri Comets, of the Major Indoor Soccer League . The Independence Events Center features a state-of-the art arena with 5,800 fixed seats, 25 suites, 2,200 parking spaces and a year-round ice facility. One of the finest ice skating facilities in the Midwest, the Centerpoint Community Ice offers a wide variety of programs including public skating, learn-to-skate classes, figure skating, hockey, special events, birthday parties and private rentals. The facility also hosts a full-service concession stand, skate sharpening services and a Pro Skate Shop for all your skating equipment, gear and apparel needs.

Independence Events Center Hires Front Row Marketing Services to Run Corporate Sales
The Independence Events Center has chosen Front Row Marketing Services to handle commercial rights sales for the venue, including securing a naming rights partner. Front Row will work to increase revenue streams while creating and maintaining effective and lasting relationships with corporate partners.

Casting Crowns Coming to the Independence Events Center
The Independence Events Center, Eastern Jackson County’s state-of-the-art, 5,800 fixed-seat sports and entertainment venue, has announced that Casting Crowns will bring their Come to the Well Tour featuring Matthew West, Royal Tailor and Lindsay McCaul to the events center on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Monday, December 19 and will be available exclusively through Ticketmaster.
