Public Session Group Rates for 20+ Skaters
Resident Admission - $4 per person
Non-Resident Admission - $5 per person

Broomball
Call us about a private ice rental for group to play broomball! Broomball is a recreational hockey-like game played in tennis shoes on rough ice for traction. The game is played in teams that have plastic broomball mallets and hit a ball around the ice to score goals. Great for fun and team building!

Global superstar Kelly Clarkson and Grammy nominated The Fray are joining forces for a 30+ city co-headlining summer concert tour. The tour stops in Independence, Missouri at Independence Events Center with special guest Carolina Liar at 7 p.m. on September 5.
Independence Events Center Announces Complete Ice Skate Upgrade
Ice skate upgrade coming the the Centerpoint Community Ice. 500 pairs of new Riedell ice skates © will be available for rental this season beginning in mid-April.
Third Day with special guest Samestate coming July 7th
The Independence Events Center, Eastern Jackson County’s state-of-the-art, 5,800 fixed-seat sports and entertainment venue, has announced that Third Day with special guest Samestate will come to the events center on Saturday, July 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Monday, March 30 and will be available exclusively through Ticketmaster and the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office at the Independence Events Center.
