Spring/Summer Champs

2011 Spring/Summer Division III Champions:

Ballistik

BALLISTIK

Ballistik defeated the KC Vulcans by a score of 3-1.  Both teams had good chances to score in the first period, but neither could find the back of the net.  The games first goal came 1:12 minutes into the second period with a goal by Derek Teel.  The KC Vulcans added the equalizer late in the second period which put the score 1-1 going into the 3rd.  Brian Hitchcock broke the tie half way through the 3rd and Scott Townsley sealed the victory with just under 2 minutes remaining in the game.  Ballistik was a clear underdog going into the playoffs, finishing the season with a 6-7-0 record but came together when it counted the most to bring home back to back championships.  Congratulations!!

2011 Spring/Summer Division I Champions:

Warriors

WARRIORS

The Warriors defeated the Applause by a score of 9-5.  The Warriors started out strong scoring the games first 3 goals all by Ray Panfil.  The Applause started to gather their composure and fire back with a few goals of their own to give us a score of 5-2 at the end of the 2nd.  The Warriors continued to go on the attack by adding 2 more goals to the deficit early in the 3rd.  The Applause had a scoring spurt of their own to bring the score to 7-5 late in the 3rd.  But in the end it wasn't enough as the Warriors closed out the 3rd with 2 more goals giving them their first Division 1 championship.  Congratulations!!

2011 Spring/Summer Division II Champions:

Moose

BLUE MOOSE

The Blue Moose defeated the Stars by a score of 8-3.  The game was very back and forth with the game tied the majority of the 1st period.  It wasn't until late in the 1st, Dan O'Connor netted back to back goals :37 second apart with under a minute to go.  That seemed to be the game changer as the Blue Moose controlled the tempo throughout the 2nd adding two more goals to give us score of 5-1 at the end of the second.  The Stars added couple goals in the 3rd by Darren Bauer, but could not hold off the offensive attack of the Blue Moose as they ended up winning their first Division 2 Title.   Congratulations!
