Synchronized Skating is highly competitive US Figure Skating team sport involving 8-20 skaters per team. Not only does synchronized skating encourage skaters to work together as a team to achieve success, but it builds individual skating skills as well. Team Amore' synchronized skating teams began in January of 2010 with the goal of spreading synchronized skating throughout the Kansas City area. For the 2011-2012 season, Team Amore' has three teams Beginner, Pre Juvenile, and Open Juvenile, allowing opportunities for skaters to participate in synchronized skating of all ages and levels. 

Team Amore' Coaching Staff:

Jessika McPike is a US Figure Skating Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field, and a Silver Medalist in Ice Dancing. She competed in synchronized skating for years with the Crystallettes,Team Elan and Rising Stars teams. She was also a Team USA synchronized skating member and represented the USA bringing home a bronze medal from Prague, Czech Republic as a member of the Crystallettes Senior Team, the same year earning a bronze medal at the US Figure Skating Synchronized Skating National Championships. She is the primary coach of the Pre Juvenile Team.

Jennifer McPike is a US Figure Skating Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field, and a Silver Medalist in Ice Dancing. She competed in synchronized for years as a member of Crystallettes, Team Elan, Team De Couer, and Rising Stars teams. In 2007, Jennifer won the pewter medal at US Figure Skating National Synchronized Skating Championships as a member of the Crystallettes in the Novice Division. She is the primary coach of the Open Juvenile Team.

Katie Holmes is the newest edition to the Team Amore' coaching staff. She is a US Figure Skating Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field as well as a Gold Medalist in Ice Dancing. Katie was a Regional, Sectional and National competitor in Ice Dancing and competed in 1986 US Figure Skating National Championships in Junior Ice Dance. She is also a Certificed Instructor in Ice Dance and Group Instruction from PSA. She is the primary coach of the Beginner Team.
